Another way we have been learning how to figure out multiplication answers is by drawing and making arrays. We took a 6x8 array, and cut it into 2 pieces. We had a bunch of different arrays, but when put together, they all equaled 48.
Connecting both our Bone Unit in health and Halloween, for fun Friday last week we made skeletons out of q-tips. They are proudly hanging out in the hallway for the school to see. The kids did a great job of creativly putting and gluing their skeletons together. Enjoy!
With a graham cracker, nutter butter candy bar, some frosting, and candy corns- You can make a Halloween Graveyard. And that is just what we did Friday afternoon. For fun Friday we worked on a pumpkin art project while a few kids at a time put together their Halloween treat.
For our art project last week, we made haunted houses out of paper lunch bags. The students did an awesome job! You might not be able to tell from the pictures, but behind each door is a monster, skeleton, or dracula. The final product will hang in the halls for the next week. We are proud to show other students that "Drugs will come back to HAUNT them."
This week for our art project/fun Friday, we used construction paper to color leaves. It was fun to use different colors on the same paper. We had some beautiful leaves in our classroom.
